Scientific Division: VII - Engineering and Industrial Research
Project Leader: Lorcelie Bareng Taclan Lorcelie Bareng Taclan
Implementing Agency:
Project Description:

The coastal provinces per region will be listed and random sampling will be used to choose the provinces that will be included. However, in the selection of the final of the coastal municipalities and finally the coastal barangays will be based from the following inclusion criteria:

Data gathering on the identified parameters will be conducted three times a week per study area and will be simultaneously conducted. Full time researchers with will be trained on the data gathering about the following: a) the physical and chemical parameters of salinity using the ProDSS Multiparameter Water Quality Meter; and; b) identification of the actual modes of saltwater intrusion.
